Bevelled Edge Profile

A bevel edge features a flat, square face with a 45-degree angle cut from the front to the top of the worktop. This angled cut adds a subtle, refined detail to the stone’s edge. The further the cut is down the stone, the wider the bevel face is. Triple Edge Profile

The Triple Edge Profile resembles a demi-bullnose design with an added notch at the top, creating a layered and distinctive look.It may have a tendency to chip depending on the stone. More complex profiles can be made with special router bits such as this Triple Waterfall. Genuine craftsman can create a never ending array of edges by gluing together different profiles. To achieve a more natural or rustic appearance, the stone edge is finished with a chiseled texture. Some fabricators hand chisel this edge. Others use pneumatic chiseling machines to chisel the edge. The chiseled edge looks rough and resembles a naturally broken piece of granite. The edge appears slightly smoothed out and sprayed with a clear coat finish for shine.
