Warranty Terms

Minimum 5 years warranty on all of our supplier's slabs!

Suppliers of Kitchen Worktop provide a minimum of five (5) year warranty to residential owner-occupants of installed Kitchen Worktop slab surfaces, beginning on the date of purchase by the original owner or installer – whichever occurs first.

The quartz warranty covers manufacturing faults, and should one develop within the warranty period, the original supplier will provide a replacement.

Customers are recommended to read and comprehend the slab’s maintenance recommendations.

The 5-year quartz warranty offered by Kitchen Worktop’s Suppliers is valid for anyone who has recently had Supplier’s slab put in their house or business by us, along with the Kitchen Worktop fitter invoice.

As long as you follow the following instructions, your warranty will be valid for minimum of 5 years from the date of installation and only once you have activated it with the original Supplier. You are not covered if you have not activated your warranty with the Supplier and have not been provided with a warranty certificate.

What this warranty does not cover?

Cracks

Kitchen Worktop installations are stone products that will not crack unless an external force or interaction causes the crack, such as impacts, uneven cabinets or flooring, structural settling or movement, thermal shock caused by the use of crock pots, skillets, or other hot items directly on the Supplier’s slabs, improper installation, or other conditions in the house that may cause the Kitchen Worktop surfaces to shift.

Any cuts made within the worksurface/island, such as sink or hob cuts, must have a 45 degree angle at the corners. Slabs that are not cut at this angle are not covered by the warranty.

As a result, this warranty excludes crack coverage.

Caution: Avoid placing crock pots, skillets, or other hot items directly on the surfaces of your Kitchen Worktop. Always set them down on a trivet or cutting board to prevent thermal stress to your Kitchen Worktop.

Abnormal use of Abuse

The warranty does not apply to products that have been subjected to abnormal use or conditions, or to any form of abuse.

Damage caused by abnormal use or conditions includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by mishandling or misuse, damage caused by excessive heat, scorching, or exposure to weather conditions, exposure to ultraviolet light, physical or chemical abuse, acid etching, staining, or damage caused by improper care and maintenance, or damage caused by chipping, cracking, impact damage, or breaking due to customer abuse.

Temporary marks

This warranty does not cover transitory markings created by household utensils on the Supplier’s goods, including but not limited to metal marks, fingerprints or smudges.

Variations in colours

This warranty does not cover variations in colours on Supplier’s slabs.
